Losing Before You Have Even Started!!

  Every now and again we set ourselves up for failure before we even attempt a new challenge or personal goal. Unfortunately us as human beings can be quite unrealistic and/or tend to "bite off more than we can chew" sometimes. So we need to try to stay mindful and be real with ourselves when setting new goals or achievements that we'd like to accomplish. By doing so we can make manageable steps to conquor and make sure we don't overexert ourselves on dreams that are possibly too large or maybe even too soon. It's an easy way to burn yourself out or leave yourself disappointed and depressed. Throughout our lives there have been times that the sayings "take it one step at a time" and "keep it simple" have reared their heads on occasion! Personally I believe those are two of the smartest and most basic of things to live by since the former can keep you heading in the direction you've chosen for yourself and the latter keeps you level-headed and usually less stressed. These are just a couple of ideas that have crossed my mind lately. I figured if I could possibly remind anybody struggling in this area of their life about making manageable and realistic goals/achievements that it could lessen their burdens in life and help make life not so stressful.
